2. Information We Collect

2.1 Information We Do NOT Collect

• Your hand photographs or camera video — these stay on your device only
• Biometric data of any kind
• Name, email, or any account information (no sign-up required)
• Payment information (the AR preview is free)

2.2 Information We May Collect Automatically

• Usage analytics: Pages visited, time spent, features used (collected anonymously via server logs)
• Device type: Browser type, operating system, screen resolution — to improve compatibility
• IP address: May be temporarily logged by our hosting provider (Hostinger) for security purposes

2.3 Contact Form

If you submit the contact form on our website, we collect your name, email address, phone number (optional), and message. This information is used solely to respond to your enquiry.

3. How We Use Your Information

• To operate and improve the MehndiSathi platform
• To respond to your support or business enquiries
• To understand aggregate usage patterns (no individual tracking)

4. Camera & Image Privacy

Camera access is requested by your browser only when you choose to use the Live Camera AR mode. You can revoke this permission at any time through your browser settings.

5. Third-Party Services

• Google MediaPipe: The AI hand detection model is loaded from Google's CDN (cdn.jsdelivr.net). No image data is sent to Google — only the model file is downloaded.
• Google Fonts: Font files are loaded from Google's CDN. Google may log your IP address as part of serving these files.
• Hostinger: Our hosting provider may collect server-level logs including IP addresses, per their own privacy policy.

6. Cookies

MehndiSathi does not use tracking cookies or third-party advertising cookies. We may use minimal localStorage (browser storage) to remember your preferences (such as last selected design category) within your current session only. This data never leaves your device.

7. Children's Privacy

MehndiSathi is not directed at children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately.

8. Data Retention

Contact form submissions are retained for up to 12 months to provide support. Server logs are retained for up to 30 days for security purposes, then deleted.

9. Your Rights (DPDP Act, India)

Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act (DPDP Act), 2023, you have the right to:

• Request deletion of your personal data
